Am 19. Januar 2025 hat eine Demo im Nordkiez, Fhain, stattgefunden, die den Opfern von Neo-Nazi-Gewalt in Russland gedenkt hat. 2009 wurden an diesem Tag die Antifaschist:innen Markelow und Baburowa in Moskau erschossen. Seitdem wird jährlich der Gefallenen rechter Gewalt in Russland und anderen Regionen der ehemaligen UdSSR gedacht.
Am Tag vor der Demonstration, dem 18. Januar, wurde zusätzlich eine antifaschistische Konferenz mit dem Titel “Linke unter Druck, Migrantenselbstorganisation und Zukunftsvisionen” organisiert. Daran haben der Soziologe und Mitbegründer der Aktion vom 19. Januar in Paris, Alexander Bikbov, das Projekt “Antifascist Europe”, Migrantenverbände (MIGRANTIFA, Migrant Collective), Aktivist:innen, Künstler:innen und Vertreter:innen dekolonialer Initiativen teilgenommen. Die Konferenz wurde als Plattform für den Dialog und die Diskussion von Unterschieden und gemeinsamen Problemen konzipiert. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf die Person Stanislaw Markelows und seine Bedeutung für die antifaschistische Bewegung gelegt, es kam zu einer Diskussion der Widersprüche zwischen linken und dekolonialen Aktivist:innen sowie zu Versuchen, eine gemeinsame antifaschistische Zukunftsvision zu entwickeln. Im Anschluss an die Konferenz hat ein Workshop zur Gestaltung von Demoplakaten stattgefunden.
Am 19. Januar hat die Versammlung symbolisch in der nach einem von Nazis getöteten Berliner Genossen genannten Silvio-Meier-Straße begonnen, was an die internationale Solidarität im Kampf gegen Faschismus erinnern soll.
Der Redebeitrag zum Demoanfang hat neben dem Gedenken von gefallenen Genoss:innen das gegenwärtige Klima politischer Verfolgung in Russland thematisiert und angesichts des Drucks gegen Migrant:innen in Deutschland zur Solidarität aufgerufen. Der Demozug hat teilweise durch Rigaer Straße geführt, wo es passend eine wunderschöne Soli-Aktion lokaler Anarchist:innen gewartet hat. Darüber hinaus sind Demo-Teilnehmer auf der Strecke aufgehalten, um eine Schweigeminute einzulegen. Die Veranstaltung hat sich mit dem Niederlegen von Blumen und Anzünden von Kerzen am Silvio-Meier-Denkmal beendet.
Nach der Formel „Erinnern heißt Kämpfen“ haben es sich die Veranstalter zur Aufgabe gemacht, Antworten auf erodierte Menschenrechte von Politik zu fordern und zu zeigen wie zeitaktuell der Kampf von gefallenen Genoss:innen bleibt.

Berlin: Report on Antifa conference and demo

On January 19, 2025, a demonstration took place in the northern part of Friedrichshain, to commemorate the victims of neo-Nazi violence in Russia. On this day in 2009, the anti-fascists Markelov and Baburova were shot dead in Moscow. Since then, the victims of right-wing violence in Russia and other regions of the former USSR have been commemorated annually.
The day before the demonstration, on 18 January, an additional anti-fascist conference entitled “Left under pressure, migrant self-organization and visions of the Future” was organized. It was attended by sociologist and co-founder of the January 19 action in Paris, Alexander Bikbov, the “Antifascist Europe” project, migrant associations (MIGRANTIFA, Migrant collective), activists, artists and representatives of decolonial initiatives. The conference was conceived as a platform for dialog and discussion of differences and common problems. Particular attention was paid to the person of Stanislaw Markelov and his significance for the anti-fascist movement, a discussion of the contradictions between left-wing and decolonial activists and attempts to develop a common anti-fascist vision of the future. The conference was followed by a poster workshop.
On January 19, the rally began symbolically in Silvio-Meier-Straße in Berlin, named after a comrade killed by Nazis, as a reminder of international solidarity in the fight against fascism.
In addition to commemorating fallen comrades, the speech at the beginning of the demonstration addressed the current climate of political persecution in Russia and called for solidarity in the face of pressure against migrants in Germany. The march led partly through Rigaer Straße, where a wonderful solidarity action by local anarchists awaited. In addition, demo participants stopped along the route to hold a one-minute silence. The event ended with the laying of flowers and lighting of candles at the Silvio Meier memorial.
According to the formula “Remembering means fighting”, the organizers have set themselves the task of demanding answers to eroded human rights from politics and showing how topical the struggle of fallen comrades remains.

19 января 2025 года в северной части района Фридрихсхайн в Берлине прошла демонстрация, посвященная памяти жертв неонацистского насилия в России. Она началась на улице, названной в честь берлинского антифашиста Сильвио Майера, убитого нацистами в 1992 году. Шествие частично прошло по Ригаер штрассе, где состоялась неожиданная акция солидарности от местных анархистов. В одной из точек маршрута колонна остановилась для минуты молчания. Мероприятие завершилось возложением цветов и зажжением свечей у мемориала Сильвио Майера.
За день до демонстрации, 18 января состоялась антифашистская конференция «Left under pressure, migrant self-organization and visions of the Future» при участии социолога и соучредителя акции 19-го января в Париже Александра Бикбова, проекта Antifascist Europe, мигрантских объединений (MIGRANTIFA, Migrant collective), активистов, художников и представителей деколониальных инициатив. Конференция задумывалась как платформа для диалога, обсуждения разногласий и общих проблем. Отдельное внимание было уделено фигуре Станислава Маркелова и ее важности для антифашистского движения, обсуждению противоречий между левыми и деколониальными активистами, а также попыткам разработать совместное антифашистское видение будущего. После конференции состоялся воркшоп по изготовлению плакатов для демонстрации.
Следуя формуле «Помнить — значит бороться», организаторы изначально ставили себе задачу озвучить политические требования и превратить акцию поминовения в политическое событие.
